Substitutes Needed
Mid-State Special Education is seeking substitutes for the Thrive MSSE Public Day School. The location of this school will be at 1500 W. Jefferson St. in Vandalia, IL. This school serves students that need a more restrictive special education day school than what the public school can offer. Training and supports will be provided in the areas of curriculum, special education IEP procedures, Crisis Prevention Intervention, trauma informed practices, PBIS, MTSS, participation in data teams, providing individualized services, modifications, and providing accommodations to students with a variety of needs. Qualifications: • Substitute license; we can help obtain a substitute license • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintains automotive insurance coverage as required by IL law
Terms of Employment: • As needed or long-term, depending on the need • Substitutes will be registered through the ROE 3 office
Daily Rate: • $125-$150/day.
