High School Science Teacher
Morrisonville Jr./Sr. High School is seeking qualified applicants to join its staff for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must be appropriately licensed in the state of Illinois and be willing to be a team player, reliable, flexible, motivated to learn, and have effective communication skills. Position: High School Science Classes to be taught will likely include Biology, Biology II, Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics, and STEM (based on need and candidate credentials). Sponsorship and coaching opportunities are also available. Qualifications: Must have valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements, along with sound content knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills, knowledge of a variety of teaching strategies, and be familiar with classroom technology. Salary: We offer a regionally competitive salary based on education and experience and per our Morrisonville Education Association contract. Other Information: Extra-Curricular Duties Available. Position will be filled when a suitable and qualified candidate is identified.
