In this session, participants will explore the rationale behind PBIS, including its impact on reducing disruptive behaviors, enhancing academic performance, and promoting a positive school culture. The session will also provide practical guidance on implementing PBIS, from defining clear behavior expectations and teaching them to students, to systematically reinforcing positive behaviors and using data to monitor progress. By the end of the training, educators will be prepared to implement a PBIS in their school. This training will be held on January 23, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the ROE #3 PD Center. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The cost to attend this training is $25/person and a light breakfast will be provided. Each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours upon completion of the training.
