The Finch is a programmable robot that brings computer science to life by providing students from kindergarten to college a hands-on representation of their code.

It is a robot designed to grow with students. From icon- and block-based coding to advanced text-based programming, the Finch is a tool for elementary school, AP computer science, and every class in between. This low floor, high ceiling tool includes materials designed for teachers who are new to coding so they can meet the needs of students at all experience levels.

The ROE has purchased new Finch 2.0 Robots for our districts to utilize with their students. Come learn about this exciting new purchase! This training will be held on November 20, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The cost to attend this training is $25/person and a light breakfast will be provided. Each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours. This training is limited to 25 participants.
