Elementary School Special Education Teacher

| Responsibilities: |
The teacher will be teaching in a self-contained program consisting of students with low-incidence disabilities. Applicants must be skilled in working with student accommodations, classroom and behavior management, developing lesson plans for diverse needs, and differentiating instruction based upon students' unique communication and cognitive needs. Teaches students academic, behavioral and social skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. Effective communication and strong collaboration skills with other professionals are essential to this position. |
| Qualifications: |
Proper Illinois license and endorsements for working with students with special needs at the elementary school level.
