Join ROE #3 and Sherry Norfolk for our annual Librarians Training. Sherry will provide us with two 90 minute presentations to utilize in your libraries and classrooms. 

Session 1: Storytelling + Music=The Building Blocks of Learning

We will explore how to combine the two disciplines in meaningful ways to form the Building Blocks of Learning! In this highly interactive workshop, participants will briefly explore some of the relevant research, then turn theory into practice through active demonstrations, discussions, and experiences.

Session 2: Teaching Kids to Tell Stories

We will learn effective methods for teaching students of all ages how to learn-and-re-tell or create-and-tell stories, thus improving both written and oral communication skills as well as impacting critical thinking skills, increasing poise and enhancing self-esteem, and learning to accept and appreciate the creative efforts of others.

This training will take place virtually on March 6, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the training. The cost to attend this training is $75/person. Each participant who completes the training will receive 3.0 PD hours.
