IMSE Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Training

Join us for this comprehensive training to gain a complete understanding of IMSE's Orton-Gillingham method and the skills necessary to apply it in the classroom, small group, or one on one. This course focuses on phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. After participating in this training, teachers will be able to assess, evaluate, and teach children how to read, write, and spell proficiently. This training is appropriate for K-2 & 3rd grade emergent General Education, Special Education, Title I Teachers, and ELL Educators. Thanks to the McKinney-Vento Grant the cost to attend this training is $150/participant which includes lunch and snacks each day along materials for the training. This training will be held on July 19th - 23rd from 8:00-4:00 at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center. Registration will begin at 7:30 on Monday July 19th. Thirty-five professional development hours will be provided to all participants who complete the course on Friday, July 23rd.
